ABOUT ME & MY DOGS

My name is Susanne and I was borne in 1972. I´m living here in Lower-Austria - in a small village called Wöllersdorf.
The 1st contact to a Briard-male was 1996 - at a working-demonstration of a lokal dog-school. And I was fastzinated in that second I saw this black beauty. 4 years later I got my first black male. Today I´m the owner of 4 Briards - Geronimo a black male, Kiowa a gise female, Shoshoni their daughter - slowly tuning to grise - and Pasolito a grise junior-male. We are very active in dog-sports like obedience, tracking, rescue-dog-training, protection-training and with Shoshoni I also work with sheep. With Geronimo, Kiowa and Paso I did many tournaments in the meantime - some of them with quite good success.

2008 I registrated the breeding-place-name "Avec la Force de l'ours" in Belgum (FCI).

I think that the breed Berger de Brie not only a beautiful, charming and cute family-dog - it was and should be also in the future a working-breed! So it's very important to promote and protect this abilities. To bred healty dogs according to the FCI-Standard and with desirable characteristics for working, is a responsible mission and task.
I have contact to many friends in Europe, who also love to work with their Briards. We come together for training-days, visit tournaments together, we change information about events and education - we are part of the "UWB" the United Working Briards. Thats a great thing! At the topic "Power-Briard" you´ll some of our friends.
